Travel restricitons to Cuba to be eased?

The House of Representatives in the U.S. has voted to relax restrictions on travel to Cuba, must pass Senate to become Law. Some trade restrictions will also be eased although Obama is in favor of maintaining the embargo.

I am principally against travel restrictions, not believing governments should inhibit travel, (as they do in Cuba) and generally against the embargo as it serves as a convenient excuse for the Castros to explain away the deplorable conditions they keep their people in. Hopefully more people will come around to admitting that decades of restricitons has only served to keep the dictator in power.
