I’m translating the lettering for the Spanish version of this blog, “Happy a 90 Millas”.
With the helpful editing assistance of my wife, it shouldn’t be long before it goes live.

Although I really wanted to letter directly on the page, it wouldn’t be practical, since Spanish takes up more space. Plus once I see all the text up on the page, I find I’m doing small edits that I’m glad I was able to do.

I was resisting Twitter for a while, I admit I didn’t see the big deal as most tweets I saw concerned trivial stuff like “Going to the coffee shop now”. I really couldn’t care less about the broadcasting of banalities, but the potential of twitter as a medium became clear to me as the unrest in Iran exploded and Twitter emerged as one of the principal forms of information when traditional news channels failed.

Since I’ve found I use Twitter more than RSS to follow blogs and sites that interest me, and I’m sure there’s other benefits I’m not aware of yet.

So whether you’re new to Twitter or not, you can follow Happy at 90 Miles on Twitter under the name happyat90miles.

On the page titled THE STORY, I’ve uploaded material from the first two pages with dialogue.

There’s a slide show option for viewing, a temporary version until the Premium one becomes compatible with WordPress 2.8 (my blog software)
The slide show application is made by my smart friends over at Made By Simple.

In order to view the story in the slide show there is a play button and a full screen button which is necessary due to the small file sizes.

Thank you for your patience, hopefully you’ll like what you see. I for one am very excited to finally see these pages materialize.
