The Story
On the page titled THE STORY, I’ve uploaded material from the first two pages with dialogue.

There’s a slide show option for viewing, a temporary version until the Premium one becomes compatible with WordPress 2.8 (my blog software)
The slide show application is made by my smart friends over at Made By Simple.
In order to view the story in the slide show there is a play button and a full screen button which is necessary due to the small file sizes.
Thank you for your patience, hopefully you’ll like what you see. I for one am very excited to finally see these pages materialize.

Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Internet?
The International Society for Human Rights has released a creative campaign pointing a finger at those leaders that fear that the openness of the internet is at odds with the closed societies they preside over. I guess this confirms that Raul Castro is the official image of Cuba.

The campaign is by Ogilvy & Mather (Frankfurt) and won a bronze Clio this year in New York.
Check out the others here, starring authoritarians Ahmadinejad and Chávez.
For more info on the restriction of internet in Cuba, please see my previous post on the subject.

Cuba comix
“Happy at 90 Miles” is not be the first comic/Graphic Novel dealing with Cuba. On the excellent webcomix site Act-i-vate Cuban-American Michel Fiffe serializes “CUBA” which in his own words are part memoir, part history.
